ABOUT ME
I have 30 years of professional copy editing experience, including 15 years at USA Today. In the past six years, I’ve done proofreading, copy editing and/or content editing for authors such as Roxanne St. Claire, Grace Burrowes, Marie Force, Bella Andre, Kristen Painter and Amanda Carlson. Books that I copy edited for Roxanne and Grace have been nominated for Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA awards. (Just saying.)
I’m also a USA Today bestselling romantic suspense author and have finaled in the romantic suspense category of the RITAs three times, for Caught in the Act, True Colors and True Shot. True Vision won the Daphne du Maurier Award in Romantic Mystery/Suspense and the HOLT Medallion for Best Book by a Virginia Author. Other books have been runners-up in the Daphne.
Until December 2018, I was the curator of USA Today’s popular Happy Ever After blog, which provided an always positive outlook on romance novels, traditionally and indie pubbed, as well as all subgenres.
